Obituary: Mary ‘Frankie’ Francies Bowman, 70, Bardstown

Mary “Frankie” Francies Bowman, 70, of Bardstown, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023, at Sunrise Manor. She was born June 3, 1952, in Bardstown. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, decorating, and collecting recipes. She greatly loved her grandchildren, and loved to buy Christmas presents for them. She would start buying for the next Christmas as soon as she could.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Catherine Cook; one sister, Margaret Rose Curtsinger; and two brothers, Joseph Auberry and Michael E. Auberry.

She is survived by her loving husband, Danny Bowman; three children, Danielle Bowman, Johnny Simpson, and Angel Bowman; four grandchildren, Dasey, Levi, Joseph, and Jazzy; sister, Hazel Reynolds; brother, Keith Auberry; and special niece, Cathy Lopez.

Following her wishes cremation was chosen.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
