Obituary: Wanda Sue Johnston, 75, Louisville

Wanda Sue Johnston, 75, of Louisville, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023, at Norton Audubon Hospital. She was born Jan. 20, 1948, in Bloomfield to the late Ronald “R.C.” and Nancy Hood Mattingly. She liked puzzles, playing cards, reading, watching soap operas, and she loved chocolate cake. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Hill; her second husband, Boyd Johnston; and one brother, Ronnie Mattingly.

She is survived by one daughter, Sandy (Kem) Ingram of Louisville; one son, Danny (Yvette) Hill of Louisville; one brother, Keith (Tina) Mattingly of Taylorsville; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one nephew, Jason.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17, 2023, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with burial in the Maple Grove Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

The Houghlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
