Obituary: Roger A. Coulter Sr., 74, Bardstown
Roger A. Coulter Sr., 74, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2023, at Norton Hospital. He was born Oct. 18, 1948m in Nelson County. He retired from General Electric after 34 years of service. He was a Vietnam veteran and a member of the First Cedar Creek Baptist Church. He loved the outdoors, but most of all he loved his family and two sons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arvin and Susan Irene Coulter; two sisters, Fern Troxell and Phyllis Coulter; and two brothers, Larry Coulter and Ricky Coulter.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Coulter of Bardstown; two sons, Tony Coulter and Kevin Coulter, both of Bardstown; one sister, Judy Burba of Bardstown; and several nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 20, 2023, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in Bardstown Cemetery with Bro. Darrell Goodlett officiating.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023, and 9-11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 20, 2023, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may go to the Disabled American Veterans or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
