Sherrell Elaine McCalister Glass, 69, Hodgenville
*Sherrell Elaine McCalister Glass, 69, of Hodgenville, died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown. She was born May 29, 1953, in Taylorsville to the late, J.T. and Dorothy Whitehouse McCalister.
She was a Baptist by faith. She retired from Walmart as a shiff manager, and went on to work as manager for McDonalds. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Perkins and Denise Chesser; and one brother, Edward McCalister.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Barry Glass of Hodgenville; one daughter, Elaine (Jeff) Metten of Louisville; four sons, B.J. (Megan) Glass of Buffalo, Matthew (Kaylin) Glass and Raymond Glass, both of Hodgenville, and Jonathan (Megan) Moulden of North Carolina; two sisters, Barbara Breeding of Shelbyville and Diana Chesser of Taylorsville; 11 grandchildren, Alex Metten, Andrew Metten, Madison Glass, Hayden Glass, Hudson Glass, Mackenzie Glass, Paisley Glass, Hunter Glass, Allison Glass, Riley Moulden and Aniya Moulden; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20, 2023, at the William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel with Bro. Dwayne Gibson officiating. Burial is in the Buffalo Cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20, 2023, at the William R. Rust funeral home.
The William R. Rust Funeral Home in Hodgenville is in charge of arrangements.
