Obituary: Margaret A. Downs, 79, Magnolia

Margaret A. Downs, 79, of Magnolia, died Monday, Feb. 20, 2023, at Elizabethtown Nursing & Rehabiliation. She was born Sept. 15, 1943, to the late John Thomas and Maude Ellen Hornback Robinson. She was a Baptist by faith and a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Downs.

She is survived by three daughters, Susan, Mary and Diane; and two special caregivers, Joseph Hagan and Julia Hagan.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023, at the William R. Rust Hodgenville Chapel with Bro. Obadiah Okerson officiating. Burial is in the Pleasant Ridge Church Cemetery in Buffalo.

Visitation is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023, at the funeral home.

The William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
