Bardstown Fire called to Early Learning Center on Cardinal Drive

Sept. 1, 2011, 9:10 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called to the new Nelson County Schools Early Learning Center housed in the former Central Office on Cardinal Drive for an alarm called in by the alarm company. Firefighters determined a detector was activated by steam from a stove. After confirming the activation was not a fire, firefighters cleared the scene and returned to station.
