Obituary: Mary Jane Pendleton, 78, New Haven

Mary Jane Pendleton, 78, of New Haven, died Monday, Feb. 27, 2023. She was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church where she was active in the choir and bereavement committee and enjoyed playing cards.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Frankie Beam; one daughter, Joan Marie Beam; four brothers, Walter Thomas, William David, Charles, and Edward Beam.

She is survived by one daughter, Lisa Hornback (Stewart); one son, Michael Pendleton (Tracy); one sister, Sara Culver; two brothers, Freddy Beam Jr. (Margie) and Donnie Beam (Liz); three grandchildren, Taylor Newton, Amber Pendleton and Emma Pendleton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2023, at St. Catherine Catholic Church with cremation to follow.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2023, and after 8 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2023, at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven.

The Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven is in charge of arrangements.
