Obituary: Jacaree De’Anthony Turner, 16, Lebanon

Jacaree De’Anthony Turner, 16, of Lebanon, died Monday, Feb. 27, 2023, at Norton Children’s Hospital. He was born March 27, 2006, in Bardstown. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Bardstown, a student at Bardstown High School and Marion County High School, where he played basketball and football. He was loved by all and a smile that would light up the room.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sandra Van Cleave and a great-grandmother, Pat Van Cleave.

He is survived by his mother, Shenquella Tonge of Bardstown; his father, Johnny Turner of Lebanon; three sisters, Malaya Turner, Ky’Lasia Tonge and Miyah Tonge, all of Bardstown; four brothers, Tri’Vaughn Tonge of Bardstown, Ace Turner and Jazhia Turner, both of Campbellsville, and Kemyion Turner of Lebanon; his grandfather, John Turner of Radcliff; his grandmother, Patricia Tonge of Louisville; his grandfather, William Redd of Lexington; his great-grandmother, Catherine Tonge of Bardstown; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Bardstown with burial in Bardstown Cemetery with Bro. Michael Smith officiating.

Visitation is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Bardstown.
