Judge Tim Hutchins is studio guest on WBRT’s ‘Bradford & Brooks’ show

Thursday, March 2, 2023 — Nelson County Judge Executive Tim Hutchins was the guest Wednesday on WBRT’s “Bradford & Brooks” radio show. Hutchins talked about some of the things that he’s modified within county government, and also about House Bill 5, the legislation that would eliminate the bourbon barrel tax that brings in nearly $9 million to Nelson County to fund schools and other agencies.

Jim Waters, the president of the Bluegrass Institute for Public Policy Solutions, a free-market think tank, joined the show by telephone to speak in favor of House Bill 5. He and Hutchins had a lively exchange of ideas and viewpoints. Running time: 49 minutes, 7 seconds.
