Obituary: Manuel Lee Sidebottom, 85, Boston

Manuel Lee Sidebottom, 85, of Boston, died Friday, March 3, 2023, at Kensington Center in Elizabethtown. He was born July 5, 1937, in Nelson County to his parents, Jeff Taylor and Ruby Lee Cartwright Sidebottom.

He was retired from Jim Beam Distillery and was a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Rosie Sturgill, Betty Morris and Viola Noe.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Peggy Travis Sidebottom; two sons, Roger Glenn Sidebottom (Jeanette) and Manuel Gregg Sidebottom; two grandchildren, Nicole Thornsberry and Glenn Sidebottom; and four great-grandchildren, Lilly, Bella, Tucker and Walker.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, March 6, 2023, at Trowbridge Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction with Bro. Michael Nalley officiating. Burial is in Mount Moriah Cemetery in Boston.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sunday, March 5, 2023, and after 9 a.m. Monday, March 6, 2023, at the funeral home.

Trowbridge Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction has been entrusted with the arrangements.
