Obituary: Joyce Ann Price, 75
Joyce Ann Price, 75, died Sunday, March. 5, 2023, at University of Louisville Hospital. She was born July 7, 1947, to Marvin & Christine Price in Bardstown.
She was born and raised in Bardstown and she was happily retired from General Electric. She loved to give and was the most selfless person you ever met. She was spunky, loved her family, and more than anything, she loved Jesus. She took every opportunity to share the love of Jesus by teaching of His love and prayed over her family every day. She never knew a stranger and always put the needs of others before her own. Her loved ones will cherish her memory every day.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Richard Price & Christine Ellen Smith Price; her sister, Sharon Diane Price; and one grandson, Nicholas Andrew Rucker.
Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Cindy (Ted) Hambrick and Angela Parkerson; three sons, Jimmy (Nanette) Parkerson, Charlie (Cathy) Parkerson, and Greg Spalding; six brothers, Kenny Beam, Tommy Price, Wayne Price, Terry Price, Gary Price, Ralph Price and Jerry Price; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in Bardstown Cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2023, and 9-11 a.m. Thursday, March 9, 2023, at the funeral home.
Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
