Obituary: Don Nell Burns Edelen, 89, Springfield

Don Nell Burns Edelen, 89, of North Doctor St., Springfield, died at 9:35 p.m. Monday at Springfield Nursing & Rehab.

She is survived by one daughter, Cheryl (Mike) Mattingly of Springfield; two sons, Larry Edelen of Georgetown and Tony Edelen (Diane) of Versailles; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Friday, March 10, 2023, at St. Dominic Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2023, and 7-9:30 a.m. Friday, March 10, 2023, Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home with a 7p.m. Thursday prayer service.

The Hale-Poin-Robinson Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of arrangements.
