Obituary: Katherine Margaret Spalding, 95, Louisville

Katherine Margaret Spalding, 95, of Louisville, died March 7, 2023, at Baptist Health Louisville. She was a retired insurance claims specialist and a member of St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Catherine Dicken; and her loving husband, James. J. Spalding Sr.

She is survived by one daughter, Diane Warner (Kerry); two sons, James Spalding Jr. (Deb) and Joe Spalding; one daughter, Diane Warner (Kerry);
one sister, Louise Spalding; two brothers, Joe Dicken and Ralph Dicken; five grandchildren, Justin Spalding, Erin O’Connor, Matt Warner, David Warner and Amy Warner; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The graveside service is noon Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Resthaven Memorial Park.

Visitation is 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2023, at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home, Mount Washington. 

The Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven is in charge of arrangements.
