EMS responds to Bloomfield fire station for reported heat exhaustion

Sunday, Sept. 4, 2011, 4:11 p.m. — Nelson County EMS was called to the Northeast Nelson Fire Department Station One on Perry Street in Bloomfield for a report of an individual suffering from heat exhaustion. EMS transported a 41-year-old male who reportedly was doing fire training earlier in the day. He was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital complaining of left arm pain and chest pain. The call to EMS came in about 3:45 Sunday afternoon.
