Player in NCHS-Bardstown football game suffers right leg injury

Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, 8:11 p.m. — A 17-year-old player participating in the Nelson County High-Bardstown High football game was taken to the hospital with a leg injury about 8 p.m. Friday evening. According to EMTs, the injured teen said he felt someone roll into the back of his right leg when the play was over. EMTs noted he appeared to have a dislocated knee. The teen was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment.
