Friday, Sept. 15, 2011, 2 p.m. — The new owners of the In & Out Market in Cox’s Creek have applied for a retail beer license.
According to a published notice of intent, the mini-mart — known now as “EZ Stop” — will have applied for a retail beer licensed no later than Wednesday, Sept. 14th.
The notice lists the president of the corporation that owns EZ Stop — known officially as “EZ Stop 3” — as Mayur R. Patel of Shepherdsville.
Patel is also listed in the Secretary of State’s business records as president of EZ Stop 1, a minit-mart located at 6360 Hwy 44 in Mt. Washington, and EZ Stop 2, 129 Bogard Lane in Shepherdsville. Both businesses were incorporated in November 2010.
The store, owned and operated for years by Charlie Siders, closed on March 24, 2011. The property and fixtures went up for auction earlier this summer.
There’s no word yet when the store will re-open.
