Aggie Downs, 54, Bardstown

Aggie Downs, 54, of Bardstown, died Wednesday Sept. 21, 2011, at her residence.  She was born August 17, 1957 in Bardstown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Juanita Downs.

Survivors include three daughters, Leean Curtsinger and Chad Pike of Bardstown, Jamie (Brian) Hart of Elizabethtown, and Samie Jo Curtsinger and Branin Hubbard of Bardstown; two brothers, Nelson (Faye) Downs, and Raymond (Becky) Downs; three sisters, Janice Downs, Belle Downs, and Joyce Hagan; three grandchildren, Chloe Judd, MaKenzie Judd, and Colby Hart; and a special friend, Eddie Curtsinger.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday Sept. 24, 2011, at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.  The Rev. Karl Lusk will officiate.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday and 9-11 a.m. Saturday at Barlow Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may go toward the funeral service of Aggie Downs or Hospice of Nelson County.
