Police called to Thomas Nelson High School for theft of copper wire

Monday, Sept. 26, 2011, 11:40 a.m. — Bardstown Police were called to the new Thomas Nelson High School to meet with an individual regarding stolen copper wire at the school construction site about 11:30 Monday morning. Police were also called twice to the school over the weekend for reports of people trespassing at the site. Police picked up four juveniles early Saturday morning who were wandering on foot at the construction site, and on Sunday evening police were asked to investigate a report from a neighbor of noises coming from the site as though someone was moving metal around.
