Dorothy Jeanette ‘Dot’ Robey Henon, 68, Louisville

Dorothy Jeanette “Dot” Robey Henon, 68, of Louisville,  died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011, at her residence. She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be cherished by all.

She was born Jan. 1, 1943, in Marion County, and was a former employee of Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company and General Electric Appliance Park.  She was a member of Mother Seton Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, William Lee “Bill” Henon, Jr.; a son, William Lee “Johnny” Henon, III; her parents, Joseph Albert Robey, Sr. and Mary Margaret Downs Robey; a sister, Barbara Janice Nalley; and two brothers, Robert Augustine “Bobbo” Robey and Joseph Albert “June Bug” Robey

Survivors include her daughter, Patty Henon of Louisville; four sons, Dewayne (Tammy), Jimmy, Lynn and Glen Henon, all of Louisville; two brothers, Joseph L. “Jodie” Robey and Pat Robey, both of Louisville; three sisters, Lois McGuire of Cox’s Creek, Margaret Lynn Henon of Louisville and Cindy Jones of Bardstown; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, St. Francis, with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. R. Joseph Hemmerle will be the celebrant.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011, at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, 4895 N. Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, and 2-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto.
