Police searching for 4 teenaged girls who left their school on foot

Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011, 12:41 p.m.  — Bardstown Police and Nelson County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for four 13-year-old middle school students who left their school on foot about 10 a.m. The four teens were believed to be heading to a destination on Carey Court, and were seen walking on KY 245 near Save A Lot. The teens reportedly have been sending camera phone photos of themselves in what appears to be a wooded area. Officers are searching wooded areas between Carey Court and the Susannah Avenue area.
