Anna Lucy Hayes, 87, Bloomfield

Anna Lucy Hayes, 87, died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011, at her home.

She was a native of Fairfield, a member of the Bloomfield Second Baptist church and a former employee of the Nelson County Board of Education having worked as a food service employee.

She is survived by a son, Robert Mitchum (Anna) Hayes Sr. of Louisville; one sister, Mary Frances King of Bloomfield; three grandchildren, Robert Mitchem Hays Jr., Deborah Tubbs and Shera Hayes; two nephews Tony King and William Wells Jr.; five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

A graveside service is 11:15 a.m. Friday Sept. 30, 2011, at Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Visitation is 10 a.m. until time of service on Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, at Houghlin Funera Home in Bloomfield.
