Mary Pauline Mudd, 71, Bardstown
Mary Pauline Mudd, 71, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011, at her residence. She was born Jan. 26, 1940, in New Haven, was a lifelong caregiver and a member of the Catholic faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Lawrence, Sr. and Teresa Hagan Thompson; four brothers, John E. Thompson, Francis Bernard Thompson, Patrick Xavier Thompson and Charles Michael Thompson; and a sister in law, Hazel Marie Thompson.
She is survived by her husband, Charles R. Mudd Jr. of Bardstown; one son, Charles Robert (Kelly) Mudd III of Springfield; four daughters, Mary Joann (Keith) Hutchins and Rose Marie Perkins, all of Georgetown, Helen Ann Mudd of Reno, Nev. and Julie Thompson (Sean) Mudd Looney of Williamson, West Va.; two brothers, Joseph Lawrence (Charlene) Thompson, Jr. of Bardstown and John E. (Kathy) Thompson of Simpsonville; one sister, Therese M. Lawson of Bardstown; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation was chosen by the family with a private memorial service to be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the cemetery fund of St. Charles Cemetery of Marion County.
