Margaret Shain Delord, 88, Bardstown
Margaret Shain Delord, 88, of Bardstown, died Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. She was born March 9, 1923, in Nelson County, retired from Barton’s Distillery after 16 years of service, and was a member of St. Joseph Parish.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James H. Shain; her parents, James Noel and Mary Octavia Young Cecil; four brothers, Joseph Hugh Cecil, James Earl Cecil, Louis Jewell Cecil and Rudolph Cecil; and two sisters, Aline Cusick and Elizabeth Ballard.
She is survived her husband, Michael Delord, Jr., of Bardstown; and two brothers, Charles Connor Cecil of Mt. Washington and Francis Garland of Bardstown.
A Mass of Christian burial was 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 10, 2011, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
