Obituary: Lanesa Gayle “MiMi” Stone, 58, Bardstown

Lanesa Gayle “MiMi” Stone, 58, of Bardstown, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was born Dec. 12, 1966, in Nelson County to Bennie and Gelinda Joyce Pulliam Stone. She was a former cook for Kurtz Restaurant and Holiday Inn. She was a babysitter for many and loved children dearly. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Springfield.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Gelinda Joyce Pulliam.

She is survived by two daughters, Keonna Stone and Kasia Stone, both of Bardstown; one son, Krystopher (Heather) Stone of Bardstown; her father and stepmother, Bennie Lee and Paula Stone of Bardstown; four sisters, Leslie Stone of Louisville, Lori (James) Keene of Cox’s Creek, and Leigh Stone and Natasha Drake, both of Bardstown; one brother, Justin (Kinsley) Stone of Bardstown; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral is noon Friday, Jan. 24, 2025, at the First Baptist Church of Bardstown with the Rev. Jeff Yocum officiating. Burial is in Bardstown Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, 2025 at the First Baptist Church of Bardstown.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
