Obituary: Rosetta ‘Rose’ Calvert, 70, Bardstown
Rosetta “Rose” Calvert, 70, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025, at U of L Health Jewish Hospital. She was born April 8, 1954, in Nelson County. She was employed at G.E. and later American Greetings. She was a member of Church of God of Bloomfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Daniel Curtsinger and Ruby Couch; one grandson, Hunter Smith;; three sisters, Mary Jane Boblitt, Edna Smith and Betty Vessells; and two brothers, Ricky Curtsinger and Tony Curtsinger.
She is survived by her husband, Kenny Calvert; one daughter, Crystal Calvert; two stepdaughters, Laura Smith and Carol Ferguson; ome stepson, Brian Calvert; four sisters, Ruby McIntosh, Debbie Finch, Rita Rotten and Rachel Greer; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews; and her dog, Bella.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 27, 2025, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in Highview Cemetery with Pastor Judy Wilson officiating.

Visitation is noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26, 2025, and 9-11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 27, 2025, at Barlow Funeral Home.
