Obituary: Margaret Deen McAdams Johnson, 65, Springfield
Margaret Deen “McAdams” Johnson, 65, passed away, Monday, January 20, 2025, with her husband by her side at her Springfield home because of a two-year long battle with cancer.
She was a lifelong member of Glendale Christian Church.
Margaret is preceded in death by her mother Mary Ann McAdams.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, James Kent “Jami” Johnson; her father Vernon McAdams; two sons, Albert (Jennifer) and Manuel (Shannon) Johnson; two grandchildren, Wyatt and Waylon Johnson; two sisters, Jeanne Hester and Martha Farmer; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, from noon – 2:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, with a service at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Mike Bell officiating.
Burial will be private.
Brown Funeral Home is in c harge of arrangements.
