Obituary: Jackie Lee Breeding, 73, Bardstown
Jackie Lee Breeding, 73, of Bardstown, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2025, at his home. He was born April 7, 1951, in Shelbyville to the late Elwood and Elizabeth Keeling Breeding. He served as SFC in the U.S. Army. He was a former realtor for Bishop Auction and Realty and was a member of Brookside Church of God of Prophecy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Maybelle Holt Breeding; and one brother, Elvin Elwood “Red” Breeding.
He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Maddox and Allison Dones, both of Bardstown;
one son, Jackie (Donna) Breeding II of Bardstown; one sister, Pamela Joyce Breeding of Springfield; one brother, Michael Anthony Breeding of Lexington; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with Bro. Millard Ledford and the Rev. Bobby Jewell officiating. Burial is in Highview Cemetery in Chaplin.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, 2025, and 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025 at the funeral home.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
