Obituary: Elizabeth Ray Brown, 87, formerly of Bloomfield
Elizabeth Ray Brown, 87, formerly of Bloomfield, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025, at Green Meadows Health and Rehab in Mount Washington. She was born July 14, 1937, in Bloomfield to the late Truman R. and Martha Frances Walls Brown.

She was a health caregiver and homemaker. She loved her family and grandchildren dearly. She was a member of the Bloomfield United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Middleton and Betty Thompson; and two brothers, Carl Brown and JD. Brown.
She is survived by three daughters, Janet (Don) Marion of Taylorsville, Norma Yeager of Louisville, and EaLisa Hardin of Evansville, Ind.; one brother, Kenny (Charlotte) Brown of Bloomfield; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Diana Flora officiating. Burial is in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025, and 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb 5, 2025, at the funeral home.
The Houghlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
