Obituary: Gordon Duane Ewing, 72, Boston
Gordon Duane Ewing, 72, of Boston, died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2025, at his home. He was born June 8, 1952 in Louisville to Owen Marshall and Edna Jackson Ewing.
He retired from the James Beam Distillery after 41 years as a warehouse employee and was a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include one daughter, Jessica Brothers (Namon); one son, Jason Ewing (Martha);
and two brothers, Allan Ewing (Carol) and Roger Ewing (Wilma).
The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14, 2025, at Trowbridge Funeral Home in Boston with burial to follow in the Mount Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025, and 9-11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14, 2025, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Midwest Border Collie Rescue, 539 West Roosevelt Road #1137 Glen Ellyn, IL 60136.
