Obituary: James Albert ‘Jim’ Hudson, 84, Boston
James Albert “Jim” Hudson, 84, of Boston, died Monday, Feb. 10, 2025, at his home. He was born Dec. 11, 1940, in Columbia. He retired from Heaven Hill Distillery. He was an avid farmer, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of FFA.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith R. Hudson; his parents, William H. “Bill” and Willie Cole Hudson; one sister, Sue Greer; and one brother, William M. “Billy” Hudson.
He is survived by one daughter, Stephanie (Wales) Hunter of Louisville; one sister, Doris (Ronell) White of Bardstown; two granddaughters, Sarah Corinne Hunter and Lauren Grace Hunter; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14, 2025, at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in Lebanon Junction Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Sweeney officiating.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, ,2025, and 9-11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14, 2025, at Barlow Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may go to Boston Community Center.
