Obituary: Ronald Lee Berry, 66, Bardstown

Ronald Lee Berry, 66, of Bardstown, died Monday, Feb. 10, 2025, at Baptist Health in Louisville. He was born Sept. 23, 1958, in Woodlawn to the late Willliam Robert “Frog” and Monita Ashbaugh Berry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Dale Berry.

He was a former employee of Mitsuba. He loved listening to country music and playing the guitar. He loved to deer hunt, fish, play golf, and go horseback riding. He was a member of Moose Lodge #2408 in Bardstown. He was a former member of the Jefferson County Mounted Sheriff’s Posse, and until his illness, had worked security for the Nelson County Fair. He attended Botland Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife, June Curtsinger Berry; two daughter, Randis Berry of Bardstown and Allie (Gator) Berry of Auburn, Ala.; two brothers, Denny Berry and Donnie Berry, both of Bardstown; and two grandchildren, Lilly and Christian Dorsey.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown with burial in Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, 2025, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025, at the funeral home.

The Houghlin-Greenwell is in charge of arrangements.
