Obituary: Brian G. Tichenor, 42, Bardstown
Brian G. Tichenor, 42, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2025, in an auto accident. He was born July 5, 1982 in Louisville.
He greatly loved the Lord. He also loved life, he enjoyed skiing, riding his motorcycle, collecting coins, and being outside. He was an avid UK fan. He liked to make people smile, and never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Debbie Ockerman Tichenor; his maternal grandmother, Glenna Ockerman; and his paternal grandparents, Mayelene Roby Tichenor and C.N. Tichenor.
He is survived by his father, Gary Tichenor of Bardstown; one step-son, Isaac Edenstrom; one brother, Stephen (Missy) Tichenor of Bardstown; one nephew, Chayton Wayne Tichenor; one niece, Laylie Gale Tichenor; one grandfather, Wendell Ockerman of Bloomfield; three aunts, Sherry (Dean) Higdon of Louisville, Jo Carol (Kevin) Stephens of Bloomfield and Wendy (Jeff) Lewis, both of Bloomfield; and many cousins, and friends.
The funeral services are private due to his father’s compromised immunity system.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Brian Tichenor’s niece to help cover medical expenses for his niece Laylie who’s in Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Donations can be dropped off at any Stock Yards Bank.
Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
