Obituary: William ‘Andy’ Faith Sr., 86, Bloomfield

William “Andy” Faith Sr., 86, of Bloomfield, formerly of Knob Creek, died Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025. He was born in Meade County Tuesday, Sept. 6, 1938, to the late Floyd and Rosa Faith.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Faith; one daughter, Patti Faith Marriott; and six brothers and sisters.

He was a Christian by faith and formerly was as a volunteer firefighter at Nichols Fire Department. He was known for his green thumb and being a hard worker. He will be sadly missed by so many who loved him.

He is survived by one daughter, Becci Bradley; two sons, William ‘Bill” Faith Jr. (Della), and Charles Faith (Gail); five grandchildren, LeAnna Faith, Kristi Collinsworth, Tiffani Howard, Matthew Faith and Brannen Leslie; six great-grandchildren; his significant other, Shirley Sztanya; and a host of other family and friends.

The funeral is noon Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025, in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home in Shepherdsville with burial in Knob Creek Cemetery.

Visitations is 3:30 – 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, ,2025 and 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025, at the funeral home.

The Hardy-Close Funeral Home in Shepherdsville is in charge of arrangements.
