Obituary: Thomas Harold ‘Tommy’ Leake, 72, Raywick
Thomas Harold “Tommy” Leake, 72, of Raywick, died Friday, Feb. 14, 2025, at Ephraim McDowell Medical Center in Danville. He was born May 24, 1952, in Raywick. He formerly worked in construction. He honorably served his country in the U. S. Army. His favorite things were dirt track racing and watching his grandkids play sports.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Harold “Dickie” Leake and Nancy Newton Leake; one sister, Iris Helena Clark; two brothers, Joseph Edward Leake and James Ronald Leake: one sister-in-law, Helen Leake; one brother-in-law, Pete Mattingly; and one infant grandson, Hudson Damian Leake.
Survivors include one daughter, Jennifer Hagan (Todd) of Holy Cross; three sons, Lonnie Leake of Saint Francis, Michael Leake (Reagan) of Loretto, and Jeffrey Leake (Abby Medley) of Loretto; three sisters, Narelle Collins (Joe) of Bardstown, and Serena Mattingly and Karen Mattingly (Jake), both of Louisville; three brothers, Sherman Leake (Aline) of Lebanon, and Alvin Leake and Freddie Leake (Debbie) both of Raywick; one brother-in-law, Don Clark of Greenbriar; eight grandchildren, Madison Ackley (Andrew), Carter Leake, Pierce Hagan, Harrison Leake, Kace Hagan, Kensley Hagan, Zachary Leake, and Gracie Leake; two great-grandchildren, Leo Ackley and MaKenna Ackley; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2025, at Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto with Deacon Joseph R. Dant officiating. Cremation was chosen with burial in the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery with military rites by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025, at the funeral home with a 7p.m. prayer service.
