Obituary: Ralph Maurice Leach, 88, Elizabethtown

Ralph Maurice Leach, 88, of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born Oct. 2, 1936 in Louisville to the late James Earl and Della Katherine Coyle Leach. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He retired as an engineer with Amatrol. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Anice Harbison Leach; two daughters, Karen (Ken) Berggren and Cynthia (Mike) Vaughn; three sons, Jeffery Scott (Jang) Leach of Washington state, Norman (Jennifer) Leach, and Joel (Rachael) Leach; one sister, Kathleen Butts; two brothers, Roscoe (Sue) Leach and Ronald (Beverly) Leach; 16 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The services are private.

The William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel is in charge of services.
