Obituary: Mary Coulter, 93, Bloomfield
Mary Coulter, 93, of Bloomfield, died Sunday, Feb. 23, 2025, at the residence of her son in Salvisa. She was born Nov. 14, 1931, in Blacke to the late John B. and Polly Ann Caudill Back.
She was a homemaker who loved to sew, read and send cards to family and friends. She was a member of Bloomfield Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Lee Coulter; two sisters; and four brothers.
She is survived by one daughter, Kathy (Rodney) Edds of Lexington; two sons, Jeff (Regina) Coulter of Salvisa and Victor (Charlene) Coulter of Taylorsville; eight grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 28, 2025, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Leland Parks and Bro. Richard Carwile officiating. Burial is in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Visitation is 9-11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 28, 2025, at the fuenral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Bloomfield Baptist Church.
The Houghlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
