Laetitia Rose Mudd Smith, 89, of Springfield, died at 6:08 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Village of Lebanon.
She is survived by five daughters, Sherry Hamilton, Angela (Thomas) Haydon and Susan (Philip) Haydon, all of Springfield, Lou Ann (Mike) Smith of Louisville, and Kaye Smith of Huntington, W.Va; one son, Butch (Debbie) Smith of Louisa; two sisters, Margaret Edelen of Fredericktown and Rose Marie (Joe Pat) Taylor of Bardstown; twe sisters-in-law, Carolyn Warlop of Indianapolis and Ann Mudd of Fredericktown; two brothers-in-law, Don Smith of Springfield and Joe Mudd of Fredericktown; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Margaret Trigg of Springfield.
The Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fredericktown with burial in St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2025, and 7-10:15 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2025,at the Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home in Springfield with a 7 p.m. Friday evening prayer service.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Dominic Church or school.
