Obituary: Ronnie Boone, 74, Cox’s Creek
Ronnie Boone, 74, of Cox’s Creek, died Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Norton Audubon Hospital. He was born Sept. 2, 1950, in Lebanon. He was a retired optical lens worker, and loved fishing, hunting and gardening. He was a member of St. Gregory The Great Catholic Church, and regularly attended First Christian Church (DOC).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie and Geneva Boone; and one brother, Danny Boone.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Ina Ruth Boone of Cox’s Creek; two sons, Jimmy Boone of Cox’s Creek and Nick (Kristen) Boone of New Albany, Ind.; one grandson, Jude Alpha; and several nieces and nephews.
The memorial service is 1 pm, Saturday, April 26, 2025, at First Christian Church (DOC) with Jim and Jackie Summers officiating.
Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2025, at First Christian Church (DOC).
Memorial contributions may go towards WHAS Crusade for Children.
