Obituary: Mary Louise Terrell, 95, Bloomfield
Mary Louise Terrell, 95, of Bloomfield, died Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Bardstown Health and Rehab. She was born Feb. 1, 1930, in Bardstown to the late Charles “CD” and Bettie Pearl Sanders Hagerman.

She was a homemaker and was a member of Highview Church of Christ. She was an active member of the Stringtown Homemakers. She was a volunteer and former president of the PTA and earned the Hilltopper Volunteer Award. She was a volunteer at Federal Hill Manor and Life Care Nursing Home.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Terrell; one son, Kevin Terrell; one sister, Nancy Spalding; two brothers, William Carl Hagerman and Arthur J. Hagerman; two infant grandsons, John Mattingly and Chad Mattingly; one great-grandson, Desmond Hoosier; and one grandson-in-law, Matt Cockrell.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda (John) Mattingly of Bloomfield and Glenna (Roy) Hobbs of Bardstown; 10 grandchildren, Terra (Tony) Reynolds, Amanda Grace, Darren (Kristy) Mattingly, Carly Cockrell, Chad Hobbs, Shawn (Casey) Hobbs, Stacie Bell, Tera Watts, Justin (Bethany) Watkins, Jessica (Joe) Marks; one daughter-in-law, Brenda Terrell; 21 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren.
The family respectfully chose cremation. Burial is at a later date in Highview Cemetery.
The memorial visitation is 3-6 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2025, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Diabetes Association.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
