Obituary: Michael Brion Peake, 22, Lexington

Michael Brion Peake, 22, of Lexington died Saturday March 8, 2025 at his home.

He was born June 18, 2002, in Lexington. He was a loving son, brother, and grandson. He worked at Baneal Corporation in logistics. He was a member of St. Leo”s Catholic Church in Versailles.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James and Paula Crepps Peake; his maternal grandmother, Charlotte Green Mattingly; and two uncles, Kirby Peake and Joe Peake.

He is survived by his parents, Jesse Matthew “Matt” and Jacinta Mattingly Peake of Lexington; two sisters, Abigail Peake and Rose Peake, both of Lexington; his maternal grandfather, Thomas Edward Mattingly of Lebanon; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The Mass of Christian Burial is 1 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2025, at St. Catherine Catholic Church in New Haven with the Rev. Biju Chathely and Deacon Dean Giulitto officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the church.
