Obituary: Infant twins Elza Michael ‘Mickey’ Wigginton, Feb. 28, 2025, Joseph ‘Joey’ Russell Wigginton, March 2, 2025

Elza Michael “Mickey” Wigginton died Friday, Feb. 28, 2025; his identical twin brother, Joseph “Joey” Russell Wigginton, joined him in Heaven just before midnight, Saturday, March 2, 2025.

The infants were born Friday morning, February 28, 2025 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati.

They were preceded in death by their paternal grandfather, “Joe” Russell Wigginton.

They are survived by their parents, Katie Wilhite and Joseph “Joey” Wigginton of Bardstown; two half-sisters, Lacee Brown and Cadance Wigginton, both of Bardstown; maternal grandparents, Donna Wilhite of Bardstown and Mike Wilhite of Cox’s Creek; their paternal grandmother, Jeannie Smith Wigginton of Bardstown; and two aunts and one uncle.

While held briefly in this life, they are dearly loved and will be reunited forever with us in Heaven.

Cremation was chosen with a private ceremony to follow at a later date.
