Jerry Wayne Gibson, 65, Bardstown

Jerry Wayne Gibson, 65, of Bardstown, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011, at his residence.  He was born March 19, 1946, inDanville. He was a retired insurance adjuster for Kentucky Growers, a veteran of the Army National Guard, a member ofBardstownBaptistChurch, and an avid golfer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Black Gibson and Finus Gibson Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Sue Gibson of Bardstown; two brothers, Finus Gibson Jr. of Stamping Ground, and Roy Gibson ofLancaster; one brother-in-law, Johnny Cottrill of Hodgenville; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday Oct. 27, 2011, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial inRedHillCemeteryin Hodgenville.  The Rev. Dylan Mays will officiate.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10-11 a.m. Thursday at Barlow Funeral Home.
