Bobby Stumph, 70, Bardstown
Bobby Stumph, 70, of Bardstown, died Monday Oct. 24, 2011, at VA Hospital, Louisville. He was born April 7, 1941, in Springfield. He was a mechanic, a farmer, a Vietnam Veteran of the Army National Guard, and a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Maud.
He was preceded in death by his son, K.C. Stumph; and his parents, LaVerne S. “Shorty” Stumph and Eugene “Gene” Stumph.
He is survived by his wife, Loraine Hill Stumph; one son, Farron Lee (Jennifer) Stumph; two grandchildren, Tyler Eugene Stumph, and Brooke Renee Stumph; and his sister, Wanda Stumph all of Bardstown.
The funeral is 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in Cox’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Jim Bratcher will officiate.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday and 12-1 p.m. Thursday at Barlow Funeral Home.
