Richard ‘Dickie’ Fell, Sr. 68, Bardstown

Richard “Dickie” Fell Sr., 68, of Bardstown,  died Monday, Oct. 24, 2011, at his residence.  He was born June 21, 1943, in Louisville.  He worked as a plumber for Edward C. Jackson and enjoyed fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Doug and Marie Fell Sr., and two brothers, Doug Fell Jr. and Donnie Ray Fell Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Lucy Fell of Bardstown; three daughters, Margaret Ross and Jessica Smith, both of Bardstown and Stella Louise Fell of Indiana; two sons, Richard Fell Jr. and David Wayne Fell both of Bardstown; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one brother, Wilburt Fell of Jeffersontown.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28, 2011, at Barlow Funeral Home. The Rev. Dixie Kimberlin will be officiating.  Burial will be in Bardstown Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-11 a.m. Friday at Barlow Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may go to Hospice of Nelson County.
