Obituary: Ervin Edward Johns Jr. 66, Hodgenville

Ervin Edward Johns Jr. 66, of Hodgenville, died Sunday, May 25, 2025, at his home. He was born Jan. 1, 1959, in Duluth, Minn., to the late Ervin Sr. and Marcella Karhoja Johns.

He was a mansory, and an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved the outdoors.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Ann Johns,; and one brother-in-law, Don Bloom.

He is survived by two brothers, Alex (Penny) Johns of Duluth, Minn., and Fred (Rebecca) Johns of Virginia; four sisters, Marcella (David) Stewart, Liz (Tim) VanGuilder, Sue (Rick) Godden, and Jane Bloom, all of Duluth, Minn.; one special friend, Barbara Milton; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In keeping with his wishes cremation was chosen.

The William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
