Obituary: Melissa Dawn Culver Goff, 49, Bardstown
Melissa Dawn Culver Goff, 49, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at University of Louisville Hospital. She was born May 28, 1976, at Ft. Knox to Joseph Lonnie and Virginia Faye Cissell Culver.

She was the Program Project Coordinator for the Citizen Foster Care Review Board and was a U.S. Army veteran. She loved her nieces and nephews and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Troy Goff; her stepdaughter, Karli Goff; her parents, Lonnie and Faye Culver of Bardstown; one sister, Jessica (David) Sparrow of Bloomfield; her father-in-law, Ricky (Lori Jo) Goff of Chaplin; her mother-in-law, Kathy (Gary) Riggs of Bardstown; one sister-in-law, Amy (Greg) Mattingly of Mount Washington; two brothers-in-law, Davy (Virginia) Goff of Bardstown and Coby Goff of Charleston, S.C.; and her nephews and nieces, Trey Sparrow, Cooper Sparrow, Emma Sparrow, Dawson Goff, Andrew Goff and Grant Goff, Harper Mattingly and Eli Mattingly and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Monday, June 9, 2025, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with the Rev. Bill Hammer officating. Burail is in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sunday, June 8, 2025, and 8:30-10:30 a.m. Monday, June 9, 2025, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home.
