Obituary: Stephen Patrick ‘Stevie’ Boone, 69, New Haven

Stephen Patrick “Stevie” Boone, 69, of New Haven, died Wednesday, June 11, 2025. He was a member of the Loretto Sportsman’s Club and retired from American Greetings.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Herbert and Mary Agnes Boone; and two brothers, Carrol Boone and Jerry Boone.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette Boone; two daughters, Jessica Atallah (George) and Morgan Marks; four brothers, Bernie Boone, Alan Boone (Judy), Sammy Boone, and Joe Lawrence (Joy) Boone; four grandchildren, Easton, Liam, Ava, and Elio; 10 nieces and nephews, Beth Grant (Rob), Chris Boone (Laura), Christy Frey (Erik), Perry Boone, Sandy Love (Chris), Daphne Manning (Sam), Dexter Boone (Kristen), Matthew Boone (Amy), Jennifer Dewitt (Josh), and Kimberly Hagan (Pat).

Visitation is noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, June, 2025, at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow visitation.

The Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangments.
