Obituary: Thomas Hubert ‘Tony’ Nalley Jr., 58, Bardstown

Thomas Hubert “Tony” Nalley Jr., 58, of Bardstown, died Saturday, June 21, 2025, at his home.

He was born Nov. 19, 1966 in Nelson County to Elizabeth Marie “Libby” and Thomas Hubert “Tom” Nalley Sr.

He was a musician and author and was a Christian by faith. He had a lifelong love for music and enjoyed songwriting and playing guitar. He was a devoted family man and was a loving son, father, brother and uncle who had a heart bigger than his arms could hold.

He is survived by one son, Shaun Thomas Nalley of Bardstown; his parents, Tom and Libby Nalley Sr. of Bardstown; one sister, Tami Nalley Johnson of Bardstown; two nieces, Rachelle Leigh Johnson of Bardstown and Jacqueline Desiree (Daniel) Humes of Springfield; and his great nieces and nephews, Dax and Kinsleigh Humes, Jaziel Salazar and Sophia Grace Johnson; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

His family followed his wishes of cremation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
