Fire department respond to active fire alarm at NCHS
Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, 1:28 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called about 1:30 p.m. to Nelson County High School for an active fire alarm called in by the fire alarm. An assistant principal was unable to tell the alarm company why the alarm was activated; a crew from the fire department will respond to assist.
1:45 p.m. — Firefighters find that the alarm was triggered by a piece of cardboard that was burned by a student in a classroom.
