Firefighters respond to mobile home fire in 4600 block of Boston Rd.

Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, 6:30 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department is on the scene of a mobile home fire at a 4674 Boston Road near its intersection with Hugh Ice Loop. According to callers, the mobile home is a vacant rental property. The first firefighters on scene reported heavy smoke and flames visible coming from the home. Nelson County EMS also responded, and the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office was asked to respond to assist with traffic control. Firefighters reported having the fire quickly under control.
